Your tasksAs an intern in the Optimization and Simulation Delivery team, you will independently create an agent-based tool for researching technical issues.
To answer the questions, the tool is granted access to internal data of the delivery. Since the data itself is far too large to be handed over to an AI model in its entirety, the agent must understand the structure of the data and learn which queries can be used to answer the questions. In addition, the agent should also be able to understand which questions he cannot answer with the data available to him. An AI model connected to the company is to serve as the agent's brain in order to meet the requirements of data protection.Example questions:

- How many parcels were delivered by a specific tour on 12/23/2025?
- How many walking and cycling tours do we have that have to cover more than 20 kilometers every day?
Your profile
- Mandatory internship or completed bachelor's degree, gap year or current master's degree with a quantitative focus, e.g. mathematics, computer science, statistics, data science or economics
- Programming skills in Python
- Initial experience with agent-based AI systems desirable
- Analytical strength and willingness to learn new things
- Reliable team player with initiative and flexibility
- German language skills
