Job description

  • Development and implementation of the global sales strategy in alignment with corporate objectives

  • Leadership, coaching, and further development of international sales teams and subsidiaries

  • Analysis of market trends as well as identification and prioritization of strategically important segments (e.g., Life Sciences, Biopharma, Biotechnology)

  • Establishment and maintenance of relationships with key accounts and strategic partners worldwide

  • Promotion of collaboration with Marketing, Product Management, and After-Sales to ensure a consistent customer journey

  • Ensuring global standards in sales processes, reporting, and CRM

  • Definition and tracking of KPIs as well as continuous improvement of tools and processes

  • Initiation of growth strategies and expansion into new markets

  • Exchange of best practices among subsidiaries

  • Strengthening of operational excellence and customer orientation across the entire sales organization

Job requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience in international sales leadership positions, ideally in Life Sciences or Biotechnology

  • Proven track record in building new markets and implementing global sales strategies

  • Experience in managing complex sales cycles and collaborating with Marketing & Product Management

  • Strong leadership qualities, high emotional intelligence, and the ability to inspire multicultural teams

  • Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution skills and visions

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with solid technical understanding of bioprocessing and laboratory workflows

  • Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken; additional languages such as Spanish or French are an advantage

The main location for this position is Bottmingen. A willingness to travel 30–40% is essential for this role.
