What would you do as a data engineer at BOLTZE?

• You develop and operate our data infrastructure based on Microsoft Fabric, including dataflows, pipelines, and workspaces
• You are the owner of the Fabric platform and are responsible for the integration of data from operational systems and external sources
• You model robust, scalable data models (Lakehouse / DWH) that can be used in Power BI, reports or AI applications
• You will work closely with IT, specialist departments and especially with our Analytics Office and external partners to understand requirements and translate them into data products
• You manage the technical interfaces (API, data feeds, event streams) to ensure smooth data exchange between applications and the data lake
• You will further develop our data architecture – with a view to governance, security, performance, and scalability.

What should you ideally bring with you to be able to do the job really well?

• Completed studies in (business) informatics, data science or a comparable qualification
• Ideally 3-5 years of professional experience as a data engineer or in a similar role with a focus on Azure, Synapse or Microsoft Fabric
• Very good knowledge of SQL, Python or DAX, as well as common ETL tools and frameworks
• Experience in integrating operational systems (e.g. ERP, CRM) into a central data platform
• You work in a structured, independent manner and have a good technical understanding of complex data architectures
• You have an open and empathetic mindset and are a strong communicator with stakeholders
• Ideally: Experience with data governance, fabric security concepts and CI/CD in the data context
• Fluent written and spoken German, at least C2.1
• Good knowledge of English
