Job Description
The ALB CoE Lead will primarily collaborate with the MSC business line in all regions to mature our presence and performance within ALB relevant markets (i.e., Water Markets). This includes enhancing our ALB-related offerings and growing our clients’ acceptance of them. A significant part of the role involves overseeing the ALB Centre of Excellence (CoE), strengthening the global network of CoE assigned colleagues, and maturing associated commercial-operational procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy:
- Monitor the ALB market for developing trends and business opportunities.
- Own solution vision and value proposition based on market intelligence and Fugro capabilities.
- Define solution business case and requirements to achieve business objectives.
Innovation:
- Work with MSC business line, Product Owners, and Innovation Business Partner to identify innovation opportunities.
- Provide feedback to Product Owners and innovation team on requirements and specifications.
- Ensure adherence to the Idea2Value process for commercialisation.
- Interface with the Innovation delivery team during product development lifecycle.
- Monitor innovation progress and provide updates to the business.
Business Delivery:
- Lead the ALB Centre of Excellence and coordinate participants provided by each region.
- Support regional business line teams to promote, secure, and deliver ALB-related services.
- Act as a technical and commercial advisor to ensure technical solutions and value propositions are suitably defined.
Engagement:
- Coordinate regional contributors to the ALB CoE.
- Advise regional business lines on ALB markets and opportunities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with relevant key clients, suppliers, and industry counterparts.
HSSE:
- Understand the HSSE risks associated with ALB services and ensure suitable standards are implemented.
- Champion HSSE policies, procedures, and professionalism.
- Show commitment and exemplary leadership to strengthen safety culture.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Continued development pipeline of ALB-related technology focused on differentiators and value creation.
Experience and Knowledge
- Education:Relevant degree in Hydrography, Geomatics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Extensive experience in hydrography, LiDAR technology, and related fields.
- Proven track record in leading teams and managing complex projects.
- Experience in developing and implementing strategic business plans.
- Strong background in innovation and technology development.
- Skills:
- Cross-cultural awareness and ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Financial and commercial acumen.
- Ability to influence and inspire diverse groups of people across various geographic locations.
- Ability to translate business strategy into realistic, timely, and cost-effective action plans.
- Languages & Proficiency:English (Proficient)
