We are currently looking for a PLC Developer to help an international logistics company modernize its legacy PLCs using Siemens components (TIA Portal, STEP7). You will develop and commission silo systems as well as small logistics-related systems. Additionally, you will plan, manage, and implement automation projects while building a company-wide programming standard. Further responsibilities would be to work closely with the plant manufacturers in order to modernize control cabinets and various mechanical plant components. Afterwards, you will be able to integrate the plants into ProLeiT and Microsoft Dynamics AX / D365. Since the role will partially include project management tasks, you should be interested and willing to go into a more organizational and strategic direction in the future. Lastly, the customer has various locations across Europe, and occasional travel will be required.

Required experience:

• Degree in electrical engineering, automation technology, or similar
• PLC Development with Siemens TIA Portal & STEP7
• Extensive knowledge of S7-1500, S7-300/400, and industrial network technology (PROFINET, Ethernet/IP)
• Connecting automation systems to ERP or MES
• Silo, Conveyor or process engineering (good to have)
• Great organizational & ideally project management skills
