Software Engineer (m/f/d) - Code Quality & Static Analysis Tools
We're looking for a Software Engineer with experience in using static code analysis tools to improve codebases and development workflows. This role focuses on applying, configuring, and integrating tools that help detect issues early — from code smells and bugs to security vulnerabilities and style violations.
Your Tasks
- Use and configure tools like PCLint, QA Misra, Astrée, Polyspace Bugfinder and Codeprover, etc., to improve code quality and maintainability
- Integrate static analysis into CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows
- Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to enforce quality gates and code standards
- Analyze reports and metrics and turn them into actionable insights for the team
- Advocate for clean code, technical excellence, and continuous improvement
Your Qualifications

- Experience working with static analysis tools (e.g. PCLint, QA Misra, Astrée, Polyspace Bugfinder and Codeprover)
- Familiarity with one or more languages: C, C++, Python or similar
- Understanding of code quality metrics, security scans, and refactoring practices
- Comfortable working in collaborative, cross-functional teams
- A mindset of curiosity, quality, and continuous learning
- Experience integrating code analysis into CI/CD systems (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Interest in promoting best practices within a team
