Who we are
Our team is responsible for the High-Lift System equipment during the whole lifecycle of all Airbus aircraft types. As a team we design, integrate and analyse the next generation of High-Lift System equipment. For this we also support different projects such as in-service support, development of existing products for new missions and scouting for new R&T technologies in collaboration with academical interfaces like universities or institutes.

Your tasks and responsibilities
As a System Engineer for Flight Control:
You will be in charge of projects focusing on power electronics to understand their feasibility, desirability and impact on the overall High Lift system design of the aircraft
You will evaluate and assess technology trends
You will define system and equipment requirements and create development documents and technical specifications in order to deliver an optimised solution
You will interface with different internal and external stakeholders and additionally manage suppliers
You are interested in project management, potentially even up to a degree to develop into a Workpackage Leader role

Desired skills and qualifications
You have a university degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
You have advanced knowledge in power electronics
You have basic experience in project management and external supplier management
You bring first professional experience in requirement based engineering
You show skills with tools as DOORS and Matlab
You are a highly motivated, proactive and open-minded person with a problem solving attitude
You bring strong communication competencies combined with the attitude to optimize and to lead innovative solutions
Your English is at negotiating level, whereas additional language skills in German are considered a plus
