Possibility of 100% mobile working

As a working student supporting our team:

• You’ll assist in developing Python code for our data processing and modelling jobs
• You’ll help maintain and improve existing code, e.g. by applying new best practices
• You’ll support to run services on our Kubernetes cluster in the AWS cloud
• You’ll troubleshoot and fix issues in our production services, in close collaboration with the service owners
• You’ll explore strategies, depending on the task at hand, and discuss plausibility and implications before implementing the solution
• You’ll be part of a motivated interdisciplinary team focused on energy market analysis as well as weather forecasting

What you provide:

• Currently enrolled as a student in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
• Interest in a long-term working student position, ideally more than two semesters
• Working in a conscientious and structured manner, with an analytical mindset
• Solid Python skills and the ability to solve tasks independently and efficiently
• Basic understanding of Pytest, Pandas, Git, Docker and Kubernetes is desirable
• Initial experience in data processing, working with databases and REST APIs, as well as CI/CD practices and cloud computing with AWS
• Interested in embracing a DevOps mindset and taking responsibility for your code
• Motivation to dive into new topics and actively contribute your ideas
• Desire to collaborate closely within the team rather than work alone
• Good communication skills in English, fluency in German is an advantage
