Metalworker / Fitter (m/f/d)

b.offshore GmbH offers steel construction, mechanical engineering and electrical engineering for the entire offshore wind farm from planning to the operating phase to periodic inspections according to BSH standard reliably from a single source. Our North German engineering office has offshore experience and is equipped with all offshore certificates according to GWO standard and has been working for the entire offshore wind industry since 2016.

Your tasks

Support our company in establishing a new business unit specialising in the provision of mobile container solutions for the offshore industry.

• Construction and modification of offshore containers
• Manufacture of steel components such as stairs, platforms, welded structures, etc. according to drawings
• Support in interior outfitting of containers
• Carrying out maintenance and repair work
• Compliance with requirements regarding environmental protection, occupational safety and economic efficiency

Your profile

• You have successfully completed vocational training as a metalworker, industrial mechanic, construction mechanic or have a comparable qualification
• Ideally, you have a valid welding certificate in accordance with ISO 9606-1 MAG 135
• You are experienced in the use of measuring instruments and technical drawings
• In addition, you are very flexible and motivated and able to achieve optimum results even under high workload and deadline pressure
• Your working style is characterised by a structured, goal-oriented and independent approach
• You are in possession of a valid driving licence, at least class B
