Leader Group is recruiting on behalf of our client for an exceptional Registered Manager to lead a new 3-bed children's home in Brent, specialising in Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) for young people. This is a unique opportunity to shape a nurturing and therapeutic residential service from its inception, making a profound impact on the lives of children in care. About the Role As the Registered Manager, you will spearhead the establishment of a brand-new 3-bed EBD children's home, overseeing its operations and driving its registration with Ofsted. Working closely with an experienced Responsible Individual who has a background in working with Looked After Children, you will deliver a therapeutic and nurturing care model. Key responsibilities :

About the Role As the Registered Manager, you will spearhead the establishment of a brand-new 3-bed EBD children's home, overseeing its operations and driving its registration with Ofsted. Working closely with an experienced Responsible Individual who has a background in working with Looked After Children, you will deliver a therapeutic and nurturing care model. Key responsibilities :
- Leading the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment for young people.
- Recruiting, training, and managing a dedicated staff team to deliver high-quality, child-centred care.
- Implementing a therapeutic approach, supported by weekly therapy/counselling sessions for young people.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with Local Authorities, leveraging the organisation's established connections from fostering and social work.
- Ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and promoting positive outcomes for young people with EBD.
- Contributing to the long-term vision of the home, with potential for future growth within the organisation.
- A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- Significant experience as a Registered Manager or an experienced Deputy Manager ready to step into a Registered Manager role.
- A strong background in children's residential care, ideally with expertise in EBD settings (candidates with only care home or supported accommodation backgrounds will not be suitable).
- Knowledge of Ofsted regulations and experience in preparing for or achieving registration.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills to inspire a team and engage with young people, families, and external agencies.
- A commitment to a nurturing and therapeutic approach, with the ability to implement and sustain high standards of care.
- Strong organisational skills to finalise policies, procedures, and registration requirements.
- Competitive salary of £50,000 - £60,000, with additional bonuses for successful Ofsted registration and inspections.
