A supportive and inclusive school in Brent is seeking a passionate and resilient Teaching Assistant (SEMH) to join their team immediately .

This is an exciting opportunity to make a genuine impact on the lives of young people who need extra guidance, encouragement, and understanding.

The Role:

• Supporting students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

• Working 1:1 and in small groups to promote positive behaviour and engagement.

• Assisting teachers in creating a safe, structured and nurturing classroom environment.

• Implementing effective behaviour management strategies.

• Encouraging emotional development and resilience through consistent support and mentoring.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children or young people with SEMH or behavioural needs.

• Strong behaviour management and communication skills.

• A calm, patient, and empathetic approach.

• Ability to build positive relationships and act as a role model.

• Available to start immediately .
