Senior Engineering Lead - HVAC & Sanitary (CAPEX Industrial Project, Pharma) (f/m/d), 100%

To drive our continuous organic growth, we are constantly looking for highly qualified professionals. To strengthen our Global Engineering department, we are seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Lead – HVAC & Sanitary (f/m/d), 100%.

Your tasks:

• You are a technical expert (Subject Matter Expert) and manage the HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) and HVAC related building services (BS) disciplines (e.g. Sanitary) within a major CAPEX program (> CHF 100 million) in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
• You lead interdisciplinary project teams consisting of external planners, internal departments (engineering, operations, quality), and other trades.
• You ensure that temperature and ventilation systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with GMP, ATEX, and HSE guidelines, creating a comfortable, functional, and safe environment.
• You support the project from concept planning through to commissioning and handover to operations, ensuring adherence to current technical standards and regulatory requirements.
• You collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, review and optimize HVAC and BS designs, and manage external planners and subcontractors.
• You contribute to the development of technical concepts and standards for the new site and participate in the evaluation and selection of system solutions.
• You are responsible for meeting quality, regulatory, budget, and timeline targets within your area of responsibility.
• You proactively coordinate interfaces with adjacent trades and internal stakeholders throughout all project phases.

Your profile:

• Degree in mechanical engineering, HVAC engineering, building services, process engineering, or a comparable technical qualification.
• Proven expertise in energy-efficient design and in the planning and implementation of complete building services, sanitary, and HVAC systems.
• Extensive experience in managing complex CAPEX projects, preferably in the pharmaceutical or chemical industry.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant Swiss standards and regulatory frameworks, especially GMP and ATEX.
• Demonstrated leadership skills in interdisciplinary project structures.
• High resilience, flexibility, and a structured, solution-oriented working style.
• Excellent communication skills in German and English
