We are looking for an MSAT Microbial Control Expert who is Biopharmaceutical process ‑ oriented, collaborative, and solution ‑ driven to join our Internal & External Manufacturing Large Molecules MSAT team, based at our UCB campus in Braine ‑ l’Alleud, Walloon Brabant, Belgium.

About the role

You will be contributing to the continuity, robustness, and continuous improvement of our biologics and pharmaceuticals manufacturing operations. You are going to support both internal and external production and analytical activities from a microbial control and viral contamination risk perspective from development to commercial

Who you will work with

You will join the MSAT team and collaborate with internal teams, CMOs, CLOs, and regulatory, development, and quality partners.

What you will do

• Support technology transfers and guide microbial and viral control strategies

• Participate in audits and assess manufacturing and testing site capabilities

• Contribute to strategies and review submission packages

• Lead second ‑ line investigations for major deviations

• Drive continuous improvement in GMP environments

• Integrate GMP/GLP changes and best practices

Requirements

• Degree in microbiology, biotechnology, pharmacy, or related field

• Experience in GMP environments and biologics/pharma manufacturing

• Expertise in microbial control, virology, deviations, investigations

• Ability to collaborate transversally in complex settings

• Strong communication skills

• Strong organizational and scientific rigor
