Make your mark for patients

We are looking for a Serialization Expert who is curious, rigorous, and organized to join our Global Supply Chain team, based at our UCB campus located in Braine-l'Alleud, Belgium.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing serialization systems and processes across the global supply chain. You’re going to collaborate with key partners to ensure compliance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement in serialization management.

Who You Will Work With:

You will work closely with colleagues from Global Logistics, Contract Manufacturing Organizations, external 3PL partners, IT, and QA. You’re going to be part of a dynamic, cross-functional team dedicated to supply chain excellence and regulatory compliance.

What You Will Do:

• You will monitor and identify serialization operational issues, analyze root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• You will be responsible for maintaining serialization data and ensuring regulatory requirements are met.
• You will create and update user guides, SOPs, and other documentation reflecting operational changes.
• You will update master data in SAP ATTP or coordinate with relevant departments as needed.
• Manage process and quality documentation within UCB’s electronic Quality Management System (Veeva), under the guidance of the Serialization Lead.
• Support project implementation activities, including preparation and maintenance of project-related documentation, in alignment with ongoing serialization initiatives led by the Serialization Lead
• You will support and implement process improvement initiatives, including testing and validation.

• You will need a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in a relevant field.
• You will bring experience in supply chain logistics or planning, ideally within pharma or food industry.
• You will demonstrate strong analytical and organizational skills, with an autonomous and collaborative mindset.
• You will have presentation skills and the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
• You will be comfortable working with systems such as SAP ATTP, SAP ECC, and EDI.
• You will show curiosity and rigor in problem-solving and continuous improvement.
