For the annual start of training on 01.09., we are looking for you at the Helios Clinic Jerichower Land in Burg near Magdeburg for

• The training to become a nurse lasts three years and ends with the written, oral and practical examinations
• This is made up as follows: the theoretical lessons amount to 2,100 hours; the practical training component is at least 2,500 hours
• The theoretical training takes place in block weeks at the training centre in Burg - experienced teachers are available to you throughout the entire training and offer hands-on training with numerous practical learning phases
• The practical training takes place at the Helios Clinic Jerichower Land at the location in Burg and our cooperating training centers - here you will be accompanied by experienced practice instructors in direct patient care
• During your apprenticeship, you will receive an attractive apprenticeship salary – we will be happy to inform you personally about the details

• The Abitur, the Realschulabschluss or an equivalent education (at least 10 years of schooling) or
• The lower secondary school leaving certificate together with a successfully completed apprenticeship of at least 2 years or
• A completed training as a nursing/geriatric care assistant (m/f/d)
• A health certificate for general fitness for work
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles

More than 20 training centers are available at Helios for training. One of them is located near the state capital Magdeburg in Burg. There, the four Helios clinics train the next generations in nursing.

The Helios training centres develop common standards for training, further education and training. Every year, the nursing trainees are asked about their satisfaction with the school and practical training. Experienced teachers are available to our students throughout the entire training and offer hands-on training with numerous practical learning phases.

The Helios Clinic Jerichower Land, an academic teaching hospital of the University of Magdeburg, with its own nursing school in the Helios Training Center Jerichower Land, treats over 12,000 inpatients annually with around 390 employees and 241 beds.
