To strengthen the Software Development Infusion Team, we are looking for a new employee for our new location in the new building directly at Burgdorf railway station.

Your main tasks
- Take ownership of software development of our "Best in Class” insulin pump systems
- As a Subject Matter Expert (SME), drive the design and implementation of our core software architecture components
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Domain Experts to provide technical guidance, support planning processes, and contribute to cost estimation efforts
- Actively engage in agile team ceremonies including PI planning, sprint planning and backlog grooming
- Develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation in compliance with the IEC 62304 standards
- As an SME, support innovation and product maintenance efforts, ensuring scalable and future-proof software solutions
- Mentor and support the software development team members, promoting a culture of knowledge sharing, technical excellence, and continuous learning
Your profile
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or a related discipline
- At least 5 years of experience in a technical lead or team leadership role
- Solid track record of working in regulated industries, ideally within the medical device sector
- Strong expertise in developing low-level ("bare metal”) software using C/C++
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives, think strategically, and influence project direction and outcomes
- Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and/or Kanban
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
- Comfortable working within cross-functional, multicultural, and international teams
