What you can expect.
Your Responsibilities.
- Execution of operational purchasing tasks, including order placement, deadline tracking, and inventory monitoring
- Establishment and maintenance of long-term supplier relationships, including regular performance evaluations
- Expansion of the supplier network with international producers of high-quality natural products
- Close collaboration with logistics and scheduling teams to ensure on-time deliveries
- Inventory optimization through data-driven decisions to avoid overstocking or shortages
- Negotiation of prices, terms, and delivery times to optimize purchasing conditions
- Identification of cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements within the procurement chain
- Support in the optimization of purchasing processes and cost structures
- Handling and review of procurement contracts to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Early identification and implementation of market and industry trends, especially in the field of sustainable raw materials
Your Qualifications.
- Educational background in business, logistics, or procurement
- Ideally several years of experience in strategic purchasing, preferably in e-commerce or a logistics company
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build sustainable supplier relationships
- Analytical mindset with a solid understanding of numbers and data analysis
- Solution-oriented and structured work approach with a focus on quality and efficiency
- In-depth knowledge of ERP and inventory management systems
- Fluent in written and spoken German and English
- Additional language skills such as Ukrainian, French, or Spanish are an advantage
