Your Role
You will act as the central internal interface, ensuring our organization's conformity with national and international aviation regulations. At the same time, you will actively support our Safety Management System (SMS). Your main task will be to prepare the organization for regulatory requirements and to promote internal awareness of compliance and safety. You will report directly to the Safety Manager and work closely with QM Designers and Process-Quality Managers.
Core Tasks and Responsibilities
Compliance and Regulatory Conformity You will support the assurance of compliance with all requirements from our regulatory approvals (EASA, FAA, CAA_UK, CAAC) in accordance with applicable manuals and processes. This includes reviewing internal procedures for conformity with the requirements for manufacturing and maintenance organizations. You will also support the processing and clearance of complaints from customer and regulatory audits and take on the review and control of Airworthiness Directives (ADs) for the relevant approvals. To keep the team up-to-date, you will develop and conduct training measures on changes in approvals and internal processes.
Safety Management You will support the site's Safety Manager in the operational management of the Aviation Safety Management System (ASMS). Your participation is essential in identifying, analyzing, and documenting hazards and risks, as well as in risk assessment. Managing and tracking risk minimization and corrective actions are also among your duties. Furthermore, you will regularly conduct safety training for employees. Another focus is on monitoring and processing all "Management of Change" activities and reviews.
Reporting and Data Analysis You are responsible for the creation, analysis, and presentation of quality and compliance key figures and management reports. The regular creation of Safety Performance Reports for management is a central part of your activity. In close cooperation with the QM Designers, you will provide the necessary input for the creation and revision of procedures.
Process and Audit Assurance You will ensure the correct signature flow of internal process documents and actively support internal and external audits. Your work significantly contributes to the adherence to international management system standards.
Required Competencies and Qualifications
Comprehensive knowledge of aviation regulations (EASA Part 21G and Part 145).
Experience working with a Safety Management System (SMS).
Ability to create and analyze reports and key figures.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Proficient in handling complex documentation structures and approval processes.
Fluent in spoken and written German and English.
