Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Quality Assurance Teams are responsible for all or part of an organization's Quality Management System, including conformance and continuous improvement initiatives. They work on systemic evaluation of products, services, facilities, manufacturing or business processes, to ensure that standards of quality are being met. Develop and implement quality plans, programs and procedures using quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses. They reviews, analyze and report on quality discrepancies, investigate problems and executes quality audits, and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. The team works closely with manufacturing, engineering, customers, or suppliers and subcontractors to ensure requirements are met
- Continuous quality improvement
- Communication with the customer
- Close cooperation with functions such as Production, Quality, Product Management, Sales, Account Management, Customer Service and Engineering including coordination and control of meetings and processing of customer-relevant topics
- Preparation of documentation of findings and the 8D report including introduction and tracking of corrective actions
- Reporting to superiors and departments involved
- Preparation of evaluations
- Communication with the customer and internal coordination
- Error analyses for continuous product improvement
- Leading problem-solving meetings
- Conducting audits
- Supporting the production lines
What your background should look like:
- Degree, further training as a technician (recommended)
- At least 2-3 years of relevant professional experience
- Dealing with critical customer issues
- Knowledge of electrical engineering
- Audit experience
- Enthusiasm for all quality-related topics and willingness to undergo further training
- Good communication skills and a structured, independent and reliable way of working
