for a 6 months mission by our client, a big international research Organization in Geneva

Main Tasks

• investigate and resolve customer queries from global stakeholders.
• Provide advice and assistance to international visiting scientists on administrative rules and procedures applicable.
• Participate in receivable collection actions.
• Manage client registers.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls.
• Prepare financial analysis, controls, and risk assessments.
• Provide a service-oriented approach to people with varied cultural backgrounds and positions ranging from students to Directors of Research Institutes and officials from Funding Ministries.

Required skills:

• At least 5 years of experience in an accounting service, preferably financial accounting, general accounting or accounts receivable.
• Strong service ethic and professional communication skills
• Good knowledge of accounting bookings
• Knowledge of EXCEL and advanced users of accounting ERP
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and French spoken and written in professional contexts.

Education:

Technical certificate or secondary degree in the field of accounting or equivalent – Qualified by experience is also acceptable
