The French subsidiary Polytec France SAS, created in 1983, is a human-sized company with around fifteen employees, which over the years has become a supplier of innovative solutions and high-tech electro-optical products.

Job description

To support our growth, we are looking for our future today. Analytics Application Engineer , on an internship within the Photonics-Vision-Analytics division!

Your objective is to help the sales team and support customers in all technical matters related to the Analytics division's products, in particular by participating in:

• Qualification of customer technical needs,
• Planning, coordination and implementation of tests,
• Carrying out installations, training and customer service provision,
• Carrying out near-infrared spectrometer calibrations according to customer specifications,
• Technical assistance to users, by telephone and on site,
• Help with writing application notes with Marketing,
• Participation in trade fairs, congresses and conferences,
• Technical referent on one or more product ranges (near-infrared spectrometer, UV-VIS spectrometer, hyperspectral camera, infrared detectors, fiber optic temperature measurement)

Required profile

• You are curious, rigorous and have a strong capacity for adaptation,
• A positive attitude is in your DNA, the team needs your dynamism!
• You are proactive and have a team spirit,
• You are proficient in English (read, written and spoken)
• You have a general higher education background (ideally Chemistry, Spectrochemistry or Chemometrics), and have a broad base of theoretical and technical knowledge allowing a good understanding of measurement problems in different technical and industrial fields.
• You are looking for an end-of-study internship.

Recruitment process

• Then Sylvain, the Manager of the Photonics-Vision-Analytics division for 45 minutes as well (Questions/Answers around practical cases and sharing with you the team's future projects).

During this process, you will have the opportunity to ask all the questions that come to mind to the different people you meet.
