Über diesen Job
About us
You’ll join a large retail organisation with nationwide operations and a centralised head office. We’re part of a well‑known group, managing hundreds of stores and employing thousands of staff, including a sizable team at our headquarters.
We value respect, support, and mutual appreciation – no matter what role you’re in. We’re committed to agile transformation in our IT department, working with Scrum / SAFe, continuous development, and leveraging cloud architecture and SAP S/4HANA.
Tasks
Advise business units and internal IT product teams on the maintenance, governance, quality, and provisioning of product/item master data across all business processes.
Enhance existing, and establish new, processes and data structures using SAP standard functionality through customizing.
Analyze and report on data related to the item master in SAP tables and HANA database.
Identify opportunities for optimisation and design new processes beyond standard SAP, especially in integration with a Master Data Portal on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
Define requirements for interfaces and data replication in areas including item master, pricing/conditions, and business partners.
Estimate complexity, lead conceptual and technical implementation, and participate in testing within an agile IT organisation (Scrum / SAFe).
Profile
Strong expertise in SAP item/master data (MM module), with a clear understanding of how master data supports retail/business processes.
Proven experience customizing SAP MM, especially in master data contexts, and ideally involved in SAP S/4HANA migration or rollout.
Analytical mindset, able to handle large data sets; experience with SQL is a plus.
Experience defining requirements for interfaces (e.g. IDoc, message control, SAP CPI, Kafka event streaming, REST).
Ability to design conceptual solutions independently, with creative problem‑solving.
Fluency in German (written & spoken) to ensure effective collaboration with both IT and business stakeholders.
We offer
30 days annual leave
37.5‑hour work‑week with flexible working hours
Option to work remotely several days a week
Extra day off for your birthday
Training & development opportunities tailored to your growth
Employee discounts with group‑wide benefits, and partner offers (e.g. fitness, shops)
Free / discounted transport options (public transport, parking for car/bike)
On‑site amenities: canteen, snacks, etc.
