Tasks

  • Lead the independent planning, coordination, and execution of cross-functional projects with a focus on delivering measurable business impact.

  • Perform feasibility studies and risk assessments to ensure successful project outcomes and long-term sustainability.

  • Contribute actively to the IT strategy and roadmap for commercial and customer-facing operations (Sales & Service).

  • Oversee and manage external vendors and implementation partners, ensuring adherence to quality, timelines, and budget.

  • Evaluate and analyze change requests within the framework of demand management, aligning solutions with strategic business needs.

  • Provide guidance and support to business units in the development of technical and functional concepts.

  • Offer technical leadership to project teams, ensuring effective collaboration and clear delivery milestones.

  • Coordinate with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment across business and technology initiatives.

  • Play a key role in the organization's ongoing S/4HANA transformation, driving innovation and process optimization.

Profile

  • Academic background in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent professional training.

  • Proven experience in SAP project management, ideally with specialization in the Sales & Distribution (SD) module, particularly within automotive or similar complex supply chain environments.

  • Strong understanding of cross-system IT architecture and integration design.

  • Confident in SAP SD module configuration (customizing), with working knowledge of interfaces to adjacent SAP modules and advanced customer services (ACS) processes (e.g. delivery scheduling, route management).

  • Familiarity with IDoc (Intermediate Document) analysis and authorization concepts within SAP environments.

  • Basic knowledge of programming and debugging, enabling effective root cause analysis and resolution of technical issues.

  • An understanding of variant configuration is a plus.

  • Demonstrates an independent, proactive, and collaborative approach to work.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence in cross-functional and cross-cultural settings.

  • Fluency in both German and English is required (written and spoken).
