Your role:
We are seeking a motivated master student for a 6-month internship to join our Drug Substance Process Development team. In the context of monoclonal antibody process development, we have different robotic platforms installed in our department. One is dedicated to upstream and cell line workflows development.
The intern will participate in the deployment of analytical capabilities of this robotic platform. The aim is to assess different analytical kits for lactate, glucose and cell counting assays using a reader not yet implemented onto the platform. The final goal of this internship is to take a decision on the integration of this device and kits in our automation workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and validation of analytical methods onto a plate reader to measure media metabolites and perform cells counting.
Conduct trials in laboratory environment
Perform data analysis to support development and support the final device integration decision.
Contribute to the documentation of standard operating procedures for method usage.
Present work results in team meetings
Your profil:
- Currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or related field.
- Strong interest in biotechnological processes and analytical technologies.
- Basic understanding of drug substance process development and characterization (cell line development and upstream for antibody production).
- Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment and experimental techniques.
- Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
