DevOps Engineer - Linux, Docker, Kubernetes - Darmstadt - 75.000 EUR
Are you passionate about building robust CI/CD pipelines and managing secure, scalable infrastructure? We’re looking for a talented DevOps Engineer with a strong background in Linux to join a leading German technology company specialising in high-assurance security solutions for the energy sector.
Your Responsibilities
Design, build, and enhance CI/CD pipelines to support core business operations and product development
Develop scalable and resilient build systems in line with company-wide standards
Plan and implement complex software infrastructures for and with our clients
Conduct customer installations and perform maintenance tasks
Administer and maintain cloud and managed environments
Contribute to fast-paced development cycles while ensuring high quality and timely delivery
Your Profile
✅ Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. GitLab) and version control (Git)
✅ Strong background in system administration: firewalls, routing, switching, DNS
✅ Proficiency in scripting and automation ️
✅ Deep knowledge of Linux OS (RHEL, SUSE, Ubuntu) and package management (RPM/DEB)
✅ Familiarity with tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
✅ Experience with virtualisation and containers (e.g. Docker)
✅ Experience with Kubernetes or other orchestration tools ⚙️
✅ Solid understanding of SQL and PL/SQL
✅ Experience with RDBMS such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL
✅ University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
✅ Fluent in both German and English (min. C1 level)
✅ Valid work authorisation for Germany
