Your role:
The ERP Program Controller serves as the primary advisor and strategic partner for all finance-related aspects of Life Science ERP projects. Partnering with the LS ERP Leadership team, you will develop and monitor project progress and performance against established business cases and project plans, utilizing project management tools and methodologies to ensure efficient project execution. You will be instrumental in analyzing, forecasting, and providing actionable insights on the financial performance drivers, supporting critical decision-making processes that directly impact the achievement of our business objectives. Collaboration with Business Units and adjacent finance teams is central to succeeding in this role.
You are respinsible for the following topics:
Work with ERP Program Management teams to plan, monitor and control holistic program- and project budgets for multiple dimensions (e.g. Business- / IT- / Enabling Functions Budget / Opex- & Capex steering, etc.).
- Monitor project budget progress and performance against established plans, identifying and addressing deviations promptly.
- Utilize project management tools and digital reporting solutions to create comprehensive and easily understandable business insights.
- Review and modify the current concept of program-/project cost allocation rules in line with our Global Controlling framework.
- Forecast financial projections and perform cost analysis to identify areas for cost savings and operational improvements.
- Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, including financial- and progress reports, milestone achievements, and risk assessments.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, fostering open communication and building strong relationships.
Who you are :
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, project management, or related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis or a related role with proven experience in project controlling or management, preferably in ERP implementation projects.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., PPMC, RPM, Jira etc.).
- Very strong financial acumen with extensive experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and business case modeling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Strong working application knowledge: SAP and/or other ERPs, TM1, Business Intelligence and/or Business Objects Finance and advanced Excel/PowerPoint knowledge.
