In Valmet’s Environmental Systems business we develop, sell, and deliver technologies which help our customers manage their emissions efficiently. Our offering includes solutions for dry flue gas cleaning, wet flue gas cleaning and heat recovery, flue gas desulfurization, and NOx reduction for example for Power generation and Pulp industries around the world. We provide solutions to our customers globally, with projects varying in size and scope.
We are looking for a Product Sales Managers, with focus on Wet Electrostatic Precipitator (WESP) technical sales and promotion, to our Concept sales team in Environmental Solutions technology unit.
This position will be located in Germany.
Your responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Find and develop suitable opportunities and expand business in the target market and region in collaboration with sales managers and other stakeholders
- Develop the winning solutions and ensure the customer understands and believes in it
- Promotions, presentations, technical negotiations, and commercial discussions
- Lead product and process design, including proposal coordination
- Act as the link between our product team and the customer, ensuring smooth flow of information
- Manage cost calculation in co-operation with internal stakeholders and suppliers
- Lead the nominated sales team to prepare technical documentation and commercial quotation
- Collaborate with the sales managers and other stakeholders to identify new opportunities and expand business
Expectations for you
- M.Sc. or B.B.A. degree in Energy and environmental-, chemical-, thermal- or process engineering
- Strong understanding of flue gas cleaning technologies and experience in sales and project deliveries
- Knowledge of WESP technology, panelboard and mineral wool industries
- Fluent English skills, both written and spoken.
- German language skill is a significant advantage. Other languages such as Spanish, French, Finnish or Swedish are a plus
- Availability to travel regularly, mainly in Europe, but also worldwide occasionally
