MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Senior Strategic Revenue Management Data Scientist creates data models, analyses and reporting to support the development of a data-driven SRM strategy.
Development and implementation of data-based models to optimize pricing strategies and revenue management
Creation of interactive dashboards and reports with Power BI to visualize insights
Development and optimization of AI, machine learning and statistical models for price optimization and prediction of market trends and customer behavior
Statistical analysis of large data volumes in Azure Databricks and other modern cloud technologies
Creation of a pricing and promo playbook
Generating insights from data in collaboration with the data analysts and data engineers in the team
Training of team members and other relevant departments regarding new tools and processes
Presentation of analysis results to the management

Interfaces and leadership:
Contact person for the management for analytical questions
Independent participation and management of cross-functional and international projects
Close collaboration with Category Growth/ Sales / Marketing/ Finance and global marketing and global & regional trade marketing teams to support the company's overall strategy and promote data-driven decisions.
Technical leadership of the small, newly formed team of data engineers and data scientists (on-site and remote)

THE IDEAL COTY FIT
Successfully completed studies in data science, mathematics, statistics, business informatics or a comparable field
Relevant professional experience in data analysis and modeling, especially in the areas of pricing and revenue management in an internationally active company, ideally in the consumer goods industry
Very good written and spoken German and English skills
Experience with Microsoft Azure Databricks for big data analyses
Confident use of Power BI for data visualization and report creation. Solid knowledge of Power BI semantic models and DAX.
Solid knowledge of SQL and programming languages such as Python and R
Experience with data modeling and predictive analytics
In-depth understanding of statistical analysis methods and machine learning
Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and a data-driven decision-making
mentality Team player as well as a structured and independent way of working
Strong messaging skills to get to the heart of complex issues and explain them to non-technical stakeholders
Project management experience including stakeholder management
Entrepreneurial thinking and independent working style
