Serve as the vital link between internal teams and external partners, delivering smart, timely solutions for both scheduled and ad hoc operational needs.

Tasks
Your tasks as Buyer / AOG Coordinator may include, among others:
- Purchase, loan and expedite material using the most economic means in-order to meet our customers’ demands
- Work independently on material sourcing and logistics coordination tasks
- Capability of coordinating multiple high priority requests in an organized and urgent manner
- Select the most viable transportation solution and book shipments in Transport Management System (TMS)
- Proactively work on clarifications and discrepancies as they occur
- Initiate, coordinate and track shipments in cooperation with approved freight forwarders in-order to fulfill customer requirements in a timely manner.
- Attend customer meetings and conference calls
- Work according to, and support the Quality Management System and within TSA security programs as required

Requirements
To thrive in this role, we value a combination of the following requirements:
- High school diploma/GED required
- Bachelor’s degree desirable
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the aviation industry, ideally in areas such as technical purchasing, MRO, material planning, AOG buying, maintenance planning, sales, logistics, warehousing, or aircraft maintenance desirable
- Military experience desirable
- Fluency in English language required
- German and Spanish language desirable
- MEL, IPC, CMM familiarity desirable
- Knowledge in maintenance desirable
- MS Office and SAP as expert
- Responsible of costs
- Willingness to travel
- Manage constant time pressure
- Manage high stress levels
- Must be willing to work shifts
- Must possess a legal work permit in the U.S.
