What you will do

• You take responsibility: Implementing and documenting user requirements for the kafka and IBM MQ platform
• Your expertise is in demand: Setting up, operating, optimising and monitoring classic and modern integration systems such as Apache Kafka and IBM MQ
• You get involved: In an agile environment, you work closely with the specialist product teams
• You get stuck in: You take on second and third level support as well as performance analyses
• You support with your knowledge: In addition to administrative aspects, you advise the users of our systems and applications
• On-call duty

What you will bring

• Understanding of Kafka architecture (broker, topic, partition, replication, KRaft).
• Ability to install, configure and scale Kafka clusters.
• Knowledge of topic management, partitioning and replication.
• Experience with tools such as kafka-topics.sh, kafka-configs.sh, kafka-consumer-groups.sh.
