For REWE digital Spain a subsidiary of the REWE Group , located at Parque Tecnológico de Andalucia (PTA) in Malaga we are looking for a Low Code Engineer for the DAIS product.

As the central solution provider for information and telecommunications systems in REWE Digital Spain we plan, develop, configure, and operate efficient systems and applications for the REWE Group , one of the leading trade and tourism groups in Germany and Europe with around 390,000 employees. Our team of over 2,200 IT specialists sets standards for IT implementation in the retail industry and develops new technologies for the sector. Currently, we manage more than 80 logistics centers, 100 wide area network cables, and over 23,000 local network connections to ensure continuous data supply to the 32,000 scanner check-out desks in more than 7,500 stores.

In Document Automated Intelligent Solution (DAIS) product, we use our software solution to classify documents and extract data from the documents in order to pass it on in a structured form. We use the latest technology and use an AI-supported cloud application to ensure that the data read out is of high quality.

What you will do:

You will contribute to the low-code team with technical depth and knowledge in Google Cloud and Google Smartdoc-AI, being responsible for interfaces, data flows and stability, while demonstrating an excellent and quick understanding of processes. You will complement the team by providing technical depth along with a pragmatic mindset, taking over for special cases or more complex configurations, ensuring the stability and maintainability of the technical implementation.

• Interfaces Creation and Maintenance: Developing REST interfaces and managing webhooks to facilitate communication between different systems and applications and ensure interfaces are secure, efficient and scalable to enable seamless data transfer.
• Validation Logic, Data Mapping and Transformations: Implement validation logic to ensure data integrity and accuracy during transfer and configure data mapping to ensure that data is correctly transformed between different formats and systems. Perform data transformations to suit the specific requirements of different systems or applications.
• AI Systems Training Control and Implementation: Supervise the training process of artificial intelligence systems to optimize their performance and adaptability and implement necessary changes in AI algorithms based on performance analysis and feedback.
• Error Analysis, Logging and Technical Quality Assurance: Conduct error analysis and review logs to identify, document and resolve technical issues and Implement quality assurance processes to ensure stability and reliability of developed applications and systems.
• Development of Prototypes and Working Scripts: Create prototypes to test new functionality and concepts in a controlled environment and write working scripts in languages such as Python or JS to automate repetitive tasks and processes.
• He/She implements workflows and integrations with tools such as Camunda and MS Power Platform, connecting REST APIs, performing data mapping and validation, developing automation scripts in Python or JavaScript, and providing technical support to the team.

• Experience with low-code platforms, workflow engines or automation tools
• Basic technical understanding (REST, JSON, simple scripting languages)
• Interest in clean, maintainable implementation - without unnecessary complexity
• You enjoy working in a team and think in a solution-oriented way
• Not afraid of logs, error messages or API documentation
• Professional English level speaking and writing.
• You reside in Spain and have a residence and work permit without sponsorship.
