About the role

• Maintenance and further development of the RWEG GIS for all locations in the UK, the Netherlands and Germany, including the development of standards and applications incl. AI tools.
• Ensuring harmonisation of system and structures across applications.
• Administration of the system and management of users and licences (in collaboration with RWE Software Asset Management).
• Support of external service providers.
• Integration of CAD plans for facilities and locations as well as public information into the RWEG GIS (if not carried out by external service providers).
• First point of contact for GIS users.
• Coordination of training courses (including suitable online tutorials).

Job requirements and experience

• Successfully completed studies in engineering or surveying.
• Experience in infrastructure/layout planning.
• Proven GIS knowledge.
• Confident handling of CAD systems.
• Fluent English and German.
