Peer 2 Peer Advocacy Manager (m/f/d) - 80% Working, Field-Based
As a Commercial Peer 2 Peer Advocacy Manager, you will operate at the dynamic interface of Marketing and Sales. Your role will involve shaping, planning, and executing Peer 2 Peer Advocacy Engagements, driving cross-specialty engagements with specialized health care professionals across Switzerland. You will also contribute to our marketing operations, drive sales uptake in line with national and regional ambitions, and communicate and implement brand messages and commercial engagement strategies.
In this role you will...
- Lead the Peer 2 Peer Engagement strategy & execution: develop & define the annual Peer 2 Peer Engagement plan incl. speaker mapping, target groups, content focus, reach, and activation, in close collaboration with the x-functional team for Therapeutic Areas in focus (Vaccines, Respiratory & Specialty Care and Oncology)
- Manage Peer 2 Peer Advocacy budget to ensure optimal utilization of available resources and maximize competitiveness
- Brilliant cross-functional leadership and collaboration with all relevant functions such as marketing, sales and medical
- Build a Network of External Expert (EE) speakers across our priority specialties on a national and international level.
- Organize and execute promotional scientific events such as symposia, company owned events, and other educational initiatives for healthcare professionals.
- Plan and execute briefings and trainings with External Expert (EE) speakers, moderate F2F & virtual events.
- Generate product related insights and stimulate the team’s contribution to build advocacy for our products.
- Build and maintain expertise in the therapeutic area by continuously educate yourself and by participating in national and international congresses and events.
- Ensure compliance with all local legal and regulatory requirements as well as GSK local and global policies and guidelines.

The purpose of the role is to drive cross-specialty Peer 2 Peer Engagements to health care professionals across Switzerland, to drive sales uptake in line with national and regional ambitions.
You’ll drive scientific brand messaging, advocacy, and interdisciplinary exchange.
- Master of Arts or Science in life science, business administration. PhD or MBA is considered as a plus.
- Multiple years’ experience in brand management, product management or other commercial roles in the life science/pharmaceutical industry or medical science liaison/medical affairs roles.
- Excellent ability to understand and convey scientific information and interpret, communicate & implement commercial engagement strategies out of it.
- Scientific driven individual with the ability to translate science into commercial targets.
- Must have strong performance mindset and proven track record to deliver.
- Demonstrated project and process management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and presentations skills.
- Fluent in English & German, French/Italian as a plus.
