Company Introduction:
We are seeking an experienced Solar Construction Manager to lead the delivery of large-scale commercial photovoltaic projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record managing solar construction activities in Hungary and be able to bring that expertise to projects delivered from our German base.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives:

• Manage the end-to-end construction of commercial solar PV projects, ensuring compliance with German, Hungarian, and EU regulations.
• Oversee on-site works including module installation, electrical works, inverters, mounting structures, and grid connection activities.
• Lead and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel, ensuring safety and performance targets are met.
• Maintain regular communication with clients and stakeholders, providing progress updates and managing expectations.
• Conduct site inspections to verify quality, adherence to specifications, and compliance with safety procedures.
• Liaise with design teams, procurement, and project managers to resolve technical or logistical issues.
• Oversee a team of 30 personnel

Required Skills/Experience:
The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Construction Management, or similar field, or equivalent
• Proven track record managing commercial-scale photovoltaic projects, including successful delivery of projects in Hungary.
• Strong understanding of PV systems, grid connection processes, and construction methodologies.
• 4Strong knowledge of VDE Standards and working on large scale PV Parks
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively under pressure.

Desirable Skills/Experience:
Although not essential, the following skills are desired by the client:

• Hungarian language
• C2 German
