Job Title: Subject Matter Expert - Product Lifecycle Management (Defence Industry/Salesforce)
Location: Onsite near Frankfurt, Germany (German/English required)
Rate: Up to €1200 per day (€150 per hour max)

Our client provides critical protective services and equipment to armed forces and police units in Germany and worldwide, specialising in body protection and military personnel protective clothing.

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep expertise in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, specifically applied within defence and government contexts. This senior consultant will play a pivotal role in the early stages of a major PLM implementation project by engaging with stakeholders, analysing requirements, and advising on optimal PLM solutions aligned to business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the organisation's expert interface for PLM systems (SAP, Salesforce, and others), leveraging existing knowledge bases to evaluate and recommend best-fit solutions based on complex requirement sets.

Lead and facilitate onsite workshops to gather detailed requirements with defence and government stakeholders.

Collaborate with the architecture and implementation teams to translate gathered requirements into detailed specifications for project delivery.

Provide technical project advisory support, ensuring alignment between defence industry needs and PLM tool capabilities across multiple scenarios.

Work bilingually in German and English, capable of clear communication with German-based stakeholders.

Required Skills and Experience:

Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with PLM systems in defence/government or complex manufacturing environments.

Strong background working with SAP and Salesforce platforms in technical or advisory roles.

Familiarity with different PLM scenarios and ability to tailor solutions accordingly.

Proven ability to lead technical workshops and requirements gathering sessions.

Experience in technical project management and consultancy within regulated industries.

Fluent in German (B2+/C1) and English for stakeholder engagement and documentation.

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with architecture, implementation, and delivery teams.
