You are developing the area
PPE & Workwear
continue strategically and ensure that
that the product range contains exactly the products & partners needed for customer requirements, projects and tenders.
You will work locally in Wermelskirchen (with the option of working from home) and will be the central interface between the product range,
Purchasing, internal teams and manufacturers/partners.
Your tasks
- Product range responsibility: Strategically develop and coordinate the entire range of PPE & workwear.
- Suppliers & Partners: Identify and evaluate suitable manufacturers/brands and build partnerships (private label/own brand).
- Portfolio expansion: Bringing relevant products into the product range – together with the purchasing department (data, conditions, availability).
- Product solutions: Define optimal solutions for requirements and projects with internal specialist departments.
- Product development: Coordinate production partners for customer-specific projects and private labels.
- Market & Trends: Observe and derive market, competition and customer requirements.
- Tenders: Contribute product expertise to larger projects and tenders.
- Optimization: Continuously develop the portfolio (relevance, profitability, market demand).
You bring that with you
- University studies (e.g., textile management, business administration) or textile training with further education.
- Several years of experience in Category Management , shopping or Product management (Ideal for textiles/workwear/PPE).
- Good knowledge of PSA and / or workwear preferably with a connection to the security industry.
- Understanding of textiles (materials, production, quality standards).
- Having contacts with manufacturers/suppliers is a plus.
- Negotiation skills, structured, clear communication.
- Project coordination with multiple stakeholders.
- Occasional travel (e.g., to trade fairs/suppliers/production sites) is possible.
