Was macht ein Industriemechaniker (d/m/w)?

Industriemechaniker (d/m/w) sind in der Herstellung, Instandhaltung und Überwachung von technischen Systemen eingesetzt. Schwerpunkte ihrer Tätigkeit sind das Einrichten, Umrüsten und die Inbetriebnahme von Produktionsanlagen. Typische Einsatzgebiete sind Instandhaltung, Maschinen und Anlagenbau, Produktionstechnik und Feingerätebau.

Was lernst du in deiner Ausbildung?

• Das Lesen und Handhaben technischer Unterlagen und die manuelle und maschinelle Bearbeitung metallischer und nicht metallischer Werkstoffe sind Grundbausteine deiner Ausbildung.
• Du stellst Bauteile und Baugruppen mit verschiedenen Fertigungsverfahren her, montierst sie zu technischen Systemen und prüfst deren Funktion.
• Du lernst, Arbeitsplätze einzurichten, Maschinen und Systeme umzurüsten sowie Wartungen und Inspektionen an diesen Maschinen vorzunehmen.
• Du machst dich mit moderner Steuerungstechnik vertraut und lernst, elektrotechnische Komponenten der Steuerungstechnik aufzubauen, zu erweitern und zu prüfen.
• Du erfährst, wie Fehler und deren Ursachen in technischen Systemen festgestellt und die Systeme instand gehalten werden.

Wie lange dauert deine Ausbildung?

• Deine Ausbildung dauert 3,5 Jahre.

Was bringst du mit?

• Sehr guten Hauptschulabschluss mit QA, gute mittlere Reife oder ein Abitur.
• Spaß und Interesse am Umgang mit modernster Technik.
• ausgeprägtes Verständnis für technische und logische Zusammenhänge.
• gutes räumliches Vorstellungsvermögen und handwerkliches Geschick.

Welche Entwicklungsmöglichkeiten hast du nach der Ausbildung?

Du kannst dich in unterschiedlichen Bereichen als Fachspezialist weiterentwickeln, in Projektteams mitarbeiten und erste fachliche Führungsaufgaben übernehmen. Natürlich stehen dir auch eine Fortbildung zum Meister, zum Techniker oder ein technisches Studium offen.
