Your responsibilities
As a Continuous Improvement Manager, you will be a key driver in fostering a culture of efficiency, effectiveness, and operational excellence across Uhde’s global operations.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of current processes to uncover inefficiencies and improvement potential. Translate findings into actionable projects with clear objectives, timelines, and measurable benefits.
- Plan, steer, and deliver improvement projects from concept to completion. Ensure robust cost-benefit analysis and resource allocation for each initiative.
- Track KPIs and provide analytical insights to support decision-making and risk mitigation. Evaluate project outcomes and conduct root cause analysis for continuous learning.
- Collaborate with Process Owners, Information Technology, and cross-functional teams to align improvement initiatives with business needs. Facilitate workshops and training sessions to embed a culture of continuous improvement.
- Drive idea management and leverage digital tools to accelerate process optimization. Support the integration of business requirements into Uhde’s digitalization roadmap and defining business requirements and support Uhde’s digitalization strategy.
- Implement an End-to-End Continuous Improvement process that starts with incremental improvements, nonconformance management, lessons learned, and effective corrective actions.
- Enable a culture of Lean and Six Sigma through targeted training to drive sustainable operational excellence.
- Drive global idea management and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
Your profile
- Master’s degree in engineering or business administration.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in operational excellence, continuous improvement, or quality management preferably in plant engineering.
- Proven track record in Lean Management and Six Sigma methodologies, with relevant certification.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and quality management systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation abilities.
- Project Management expertise with the ability to lead initiatives across global teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 tools.
- Fluent in English.
