My client is a global leader in the energy sector, based in the Central Ruhrgebiet (80% remote). They are a multi-billion Euro organization with a global presence.

They are looking to strengthen their internal SAP team and is looking for an experienced Inhouse SAP Technical Consultant with a strong background in logistics or supply chain to join their growing team.

In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders and internal IT to design, develop, and optimize SAP solutions across WM/EWM, SD, or MM within an S/4HANA environment.

This is a hands-on development position with real influence on technical decisions, solution design, and continuous improvement of the SAP landscape.

Your Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and enhance SAP applications using ABAP and ABAP‑OO in WM/EWM, SD, or MM.

• Contribute to S/4HANA projects by working on new developments, optimizations, and rollouts.

• Translate business needs into effective technical solutions, bridging the gap between business and IT.

• Participate in end‑to‑end project delivery, including design, build, testing, deployment, and hypercare.

• Deliver workshops, demos, and documentation for business users.

• Ensure high-quality, maintainable code by following Clean Code, Clean ABAP, and structured review practices.

• Enhance existing applications by leveraging your expertise in logistics and warehouse management.

• Identify technical improvements and drive ongoing optimization.

• Solid experience in ABAP and ABAP‑OO development

• Expertise in at least one SAP logistics module (WM/EWM, SD, or MM), ideally with S/4HANA

• Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain processes, including experience with mobile/scanner solutions

• Comfortable working in agile environments (Scrum, DevOps)

• A communicative team player with a structured, solution‑oriented mindset

• High customer orientation, commitment, and willingness to drive digitalization

• Enjoy working in an international environment; fluent in German and English

• Highly remote (80% Home-office - only visit office 1 day per week).
