Job Description
logarithmo is a young, growing IT company developing digital solutions for energy industry challenges. Our focus is on data-driven software services for manufacturing companies, energy suppliers, grid operators, energy-intensive consumers, and generators, among others. Join us in shaping the power grids of the future—from the integration of renewable energies to intelligent energy management for entire industries.
Responsibilities : In this entry-level position, you will support our interdisciplinary team in exciting projects related to sustainable energy systems—with a special focus on numerical optimization methods and data-driven algorithms. You will work on, among other things:
- Conception and development of innovative solutions for current energy management issues (e.g. intelligent grid planning, integration of renewable energies, energy management in industry)
- Data-driven analysis and modeling of power grids and energy systems
- Development and application of algorithms (optimization methods, machine learning, AI)
- Active participation in the implementation and documentation of projects – from the idea to successful completion.
- Initial experience in modeling and solving numerical optimization problems
- Basic knowledge of one or more programming languages such as Python, Julia, MATLAB
- Completed studies in engineering, mathematics, computer science, physics or a comparable subject
- Interest in energy management, power grids and data-driven solutions
- Analytical thinking, willingness to learn and team orientation
- Good knowledge of German and English
