Summary of Role

GlobalFoundries Fab 1 in Dresden Germany is looking for a motivated and skilled experienced engineer to be a part of the Customer Engineering Team. The primary responsibility in this role would be to work with customers to plan for their New Products in Fab1, align internally and run customer meetings where multiple technical items are discussed. A responsibility is also to track and move wafers across sites, OSATs to ship to our customers.

Your Job

Perform as technical conduit for Customer Programs from Customer Prototyping (NPI) to Product EOL

• Act as primary Engineering channel ensuring crisp & clear communication.

• Be the focal point for Customer communication to the Fab, aligning messaging internally and then sharing externally with the customer.

• Work with the Fab1 Production Control, Planning and Product Integration to track internal dates and On Time Delivery (OTD) metrics.

• Run customer meetings, ensuring action items are aligned and followed up.

• Take ownership and drive any issue for the customer project to a solution, involving all required departments.

• Train other team members as appropriate

• Interface with Account Managers (AM), Field Application Engineering (FAE), all sales teams and Customers to enable program success.

• Achieve revenue goals and derive customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

• Education: 4 Year Technical / Bachelor/Master Degree in Science, Math, Engineering, Semiconductor Manufacturing

• Experience >3 Years Experience in Manufacturing or Customer Facing Engineering Role

• Language Fluency – English – Written and Verbal

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within team environments

• Strong organizational skills with a focus on efficiency and accuracy

• Excellent interpersonal skills; fosters positive working relationships

• Capable of managing multiple tasks and prioritizing activities under pressure

The position is open-ended and to be filled as soon as possible.

13th month salary, bonus payments, assistance with relocation to Dresden.
