From sensors for air conditioning systems to oil pressure, i2s offers intelligent solutions for battery and hydrogen drives as well as for combustion engines.
Aufgaben:
- Technical guidance of a team of firmware engineers and management of our design reviews to ensure our high-quality standards for sensor platforms ensuring compliance with ISO 26262 and ASPICE
- Ensure integration of RTOS, communication protocols (CAN, LIN, SPI, I2C), and sensor algorithms
- Collaborate with design engineers to define firmware requirements and interfaces
- Drive best practices in embedded software development, including status analysis, unit testing, and continuous integration
- Contribute to long-term product and technology roadmaps by staying up to date on embedded systems, sensor technology, and the latest standards in the automotive industry
Qualifikationen:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Many years of experience in embedded firmware development, with several years in an architectural or technical leadership role
- Deep understanding of embedded C/C++, RTOS, and microcontroller architectures (ARM Cortex-M )
- Experience with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN) and industrial interfaces (Modbus, EtherCAT)
- Familiarity with safety-critical development processes (ISO 26262, ASPICE)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Fluent English
