Als Praktikant*in in unserem Electrical Device Characterization and Analyzes Lab bist du Mitglied eines hochqualifizierten Teams, das an der Entwicklung neuer und der Optimierung bestehender aktiver und passiver Bauelemente für eine Vielzahl unterschiedlicher Technologien arbeitet. Die Aufgabe des Teams besteht darin, neuartige, wertsteigernde Bauelemente zu definieren, zu entwickeln und zu implementieren, Leistungsverbesserungen vorzunehmen sowie etablierte aktive und passive Bauelemente in verschiedenen fortgeschrittenen CMOS-Technologien in Übereinstimmung mit den Anforderungen der Kunden nachzuhalten.

Stellenprofil

• SRAM Tests und Analysen

• Halbautomatische Wafer-Bench-Tests von fortschrittlichen CMOS-Strukturen

• DC- und RF/mmWave-Charakterisierungen von z. B. FDSOI- und Bulk-CMOS-Bauelementen und geeignete Teststrukturdesigns

• Spezielle elektronische Charakterisierungen von fortschrittlichen CMOS-Bauelementen (z. B. Spezialuntersuchungen wie das Schaltverhalten von integrierten Hochspannungstransistoren mit induktiven Lasten (Avalance Test, UIS), DC- und AC-Eigenschaften, Latch-up- und Leckstrom-Analysen usw.)

• Zusammenarbeit mit hochqualifizierten Entwicklungsingenieuren bei der Anpassung neuartiger Mess- und Datennachverarbeitungsmethoden an eine Vielzahl von Software-, Mess- und Simulationstools

• Unterstützung bei der Wafer-Logistik von Entwicklungsmaterial

Erforderliche Qualifikationen

• Du bist an einer Hochschule immatrikuliert in einem der folgenden Studienrichtungen: Elektrotechnik/Elektronik/Informationstechnik oder einem verwandten Fachgebiet wie der Festkörperphysik o.ä.

• Du möchtest erste Erfahrungen in der Halbleiterindustrie sammeln, um den Einstieg in das Berufsleben zu finden.

• Du begeisterst Dich für Labortests und Elektronik und hast Spaß sowie Gespür für High-End-Messlabore.

• Du verfügst über ein Grundwissen aus Deinem Studium in elektronischen Schaltungen und Transistorphysik.

• Darüber hinaus hast Du vielleicht schon Erfahrungen mit Messsoftware und Datenextraktionssoftware gesammelt.

• Wir suchen einen aufgeschlossenen Teamplayer mit guten Kommunikationsfähigkeiten, der auch innerhalb des Teams Ideen austauschen und Ergebnisse weitergeben kann.

• Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift sowie Kenntnisse im Umgang mit Standard-Bürosoftware (Excel/PowerPoint) sind wünschenswert.

Introduction

As a intern in our Electrical Device Characterization and Analyzes Lab, you will be a member of a highly skilled team working on the development of new and optimization of existing active and passive devices for a variety of different technologies. The team's mission is to define, develop, and implement novel, value-added devices, make performance improvements, and track established active and passive devices in various advanced CMOS technologies in accordance with customer requirements. with a passion for measurement, characterization and analysis to support our activities in the electronic device development department in Fab1 Dresden.

Your Job

• SRAM tests and analysis

• Semi-automated wafer bench testing of advanced CMOS structures.

• DC and RF/mm Wave characterizations of e.g. FDSOI and bulk CMOS devices and appropriate test structure designs.

• Special electronic characterizations of advanced CMOS devices (e.g. special investigations such as the switching behavior of integrated high-voltage transistors with inductive loads (avalance test, UIS), DC and AC characteristics, latch-up and leakage current analyses, etc.)

• Collaborate with highly skilled development engineers to adapt novel measurement and data post-processing methods to a variety of software, measurement and simulation tools.

• Support for wafer logistics of development material.

Required Qualifications

• You are enrolled at a university in one of the following fields of study: Electrical Engineering/Electronics/Information Technology or a related field such as Solid State Physics or similar.

• You want to gain your first experience in the semiconductor industry in order to start your career.

• You are passionate about lab testing and electronics and have fun as well as a flair for high-end measurement labs.

• You have a basic knowledge from your studies in electronic circuits and transistor physics.

• In addition, you may have experience with measurement software and data extraction software.

• We are looking for an open-minded team player with good communication skills who can also share ideas and pass on results within the team.

• Proficiency in written and spoken English and knowledge of standard office software (Excel/PowerPoint) is desirable.
