At the Institute of Radiopharmaceutical Cancer Research scientists (f/m/d) from the fields of physics, chemistry, biology, pharmacy, immunology, medicine and IT develop innovative radiopharmaceuticals and novel tools for functional characterization, improved imaging and personalized treatment of tumors.
The Department of Life Science Nanomicrosystems is looking for a PhD Student (f/m/d) Development of the degradable environmental and bio-sensors, subject to final approval by the project sponsor.
Your tasks
- Development of the project tasks and milestones
- Regular check of the state of the art literature
- Establishing cooperation and contacts with the cooperators within cluster of excellence
- Fabrication of the degradable sensor elements and electrical characterisation
- Study of the degradation profile and publication of the results
Your profile
- Completed university studies (Master, Diploma) in the field of Materials Science and Engineering, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field
- Relevant professional experience in the specified area (synthesis, fabrication, characterisation)
- Background in functional materials, sensors/biosensors, polymer science, and micro-/nanofabrication techniques is desirable
- Very good written and spoken English skills
