• Completed vocational training as a surface coater (m/f/d) and/or professional experience in the field of surface coating – powder coating
• Willingness to work in 2 shifts
• Care (e.g. when monitoring the time spent in the immersion bath or checking the layer thickness)
• Observation accuracy and attention (e.g. perceiving irregularities in the coating during ongoing inspection of the coating processes)
• Manual skills (e.g. in pre- and post-treatment of workpieces)
• Decision-making ability and reaction speed (e.g. rapid detection and elimination of disruptions in the production process)

• Preparing workpieces for powder coating, such as cleaning, degreasing, and removing rust and old paint and corrosion protection layers
• Work according to technical documents
• Select, mix and prepare powder types for coating
• Carrying out electrostatic powder coating (triboprocess, corona hand coating)
• Programming, controlling and operating powder coating machines and systems
• Quality control
• Clean, maintain and carry out simple repairs on machines, systems and equipment
• Record and document technical data
