Your Task

The Fab1 Manufacturing Inline Control systems team in GF Dresden is currently looking for support for one of the following two topics . Both are related to Yield applications.

1. Software development and workflow improvements

• ​ D evelop and optimize setup tools to enhance the efficiency and functionality of the yield engineering datamart systems in Fab1.

• C ollaborate closely with the local team of database experts and data engineers to gather, understand and implement the project requirements .

• A ssist in analyzing setup workflows to identify areas for improvement .

• Implement the identified changes and new features into existing tools and develop new tools if applicable.

​ Special Required Qualifications:

• Javaand web programming skills ( e.g. JavaScript / T ype S cript, HTML, CSS )

• Basic understanding of databases and SQL query development is desirable

2. Software containerization and remote control of applications

• Containerization of existing applications

• Deploy applications running in Perl or Apache into Docker container

• Identify and develop cron -like task management solution for private cloud container applications ( e.g. control applications in Hashicorp Nomad)

​ Special Required Qualifications:

General Required Qualifications

• Y ou are enrolled at a university in one of the following fields of study: computer science , engineering, mathematics , physics or a related field

• Good problem solving and collaboration skills

• Genuine interest in delivering precise and correct solutions

• Curious to work in an international team

Period

• The position is available immediately for a duration of at least 6 month s

• a maximum of 20 hours/week during the semester and a maximum of 40 hours /week during semester holidays
