Your responsibilities
- The Civil & Mechanical team is responsible for creating solutions for solar, wind, and battery storage projects from the conceptual design to execution across Europe.
- Create and review site engineering design for utility scale wind, solar and battery storage Projects (Focus but not limited to Civil & Mechanical topics)
- Deliver designs and optimization in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and industry practices
- Technical Due diligence and site investigation including cost and quantity estimations
- Structural analyse and foundation design (Wind, Solar and BESS)
- Defining and overseeing external engineering services, as well as scope of technical contract
- Be responsive to the needs of internal stakeholders and project requirements
- Provide feedback and contribute to continues improvement in all areas
Your profile
- Degree in civil engineering or similar (Advanced vocational qualifications and practical experienced is considered).
- At least three years of relevant work experience in Solar and/or Wind engineering (Civil)
- Experience in Foundation and crane pad design for wind turbine is preferred
- Member of a German chamber of engineers are prefered
- Profound Civil 3D and AutoCAD skills (others are helpful)
- Knowledge of Eurocode, IEC codes and industry practices
- Creative and open-minded individual with a good sense of humor
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proven track record of international work experience
- Willingness to travel internationally
