Your responsibilities
- Lead and manage the engineering team (electrical, civil, structural, and grid engineers).
- Oversee the preparation of execution, and as-built designs.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, grid codes, and international standards.
- Support tendering, supplier evaluations, and contract negotiations.
- Provide technical leadership during project development, EPC execution, and commissioning phases.
- Collaborate with project managers, procurement, and construction teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Establish and implement engineering guidelines, design review processes, and quality control measures.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster continuous improvement within the team.
Your profile
- Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy, or related Engineering field.
- 5+ years of experience in solar PV design, engineering, or project delivery.
- Strong knowledge of utility-scale solar PV technology, inverters and BOS components.
- Experience with AutoCAD, PVsyst, PVcase, or similar design software.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Fluent in English (German or other languages are a plus).
- Familiarity with international standards (IEC, IEEE, VDE).
- PMP or equivalent project management certification.
- Experience with battery energy storage systems (BESS) integration is preferred.
