Your responsibilities

As an intern in our Asset Transformation team, you will gain first-hand experience in shaping the future of energy markets and Uniper’s asset portfolio. Your main tasks will include:

  • Supporting analyses of current and future energy market trends with a focus on transformative growth areas (e.g. Hydrogen, flexibility, renewables)
  • Assisting in the preparation of business cases and asset portfolio transformation ideas
  • Contributing to assessments of Uniper’s asset base by integrating technical, commercial, and regulatory perspectives
  • Helping to prepare presentations and communication material for internal stakeholders and management

Project collaboration:

  • Work closely with colleagues across the company (e.g. Energy Asset Operations, Controlling, Asset Project-Development, Power-Trading etc.) and gain insight into different business functions
  • Support in the coordination of project activities and stakeholder workshops
  • Assist in aligning project assumptions and preparing summaries of results for various reporting lines

Your profile

  • You are currently enrolled in a university program (engineering, economics, social or natural sciences or a related field, energy-related studies preferred)
  • 3-6 months of full-time availability for the internship
  • Strong interest in the energy industry and transformation topics (e.g. Hydrogen, flexibility, renewables)
  • Initial experience (through university projects, internships, or student jobs) in energy, business, or policy-related topics is an advantage
  • Analytical mindset with enthusiasm to learn and contribute
  • Good communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Very good English skills; knowledge of another European language (e.g. German, Dutch, Italian, French) is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Provision of a cover-letter for the application
  • A steep learning curve with exposure to high-impact projects
