As the NOS Demand Planning Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting accurate, data-driven forecasting and supply planning to ensure optimal product availability and commercial efficiency. This role requires analytical strength, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic oversight of planning processes across the NOS product lifecycle.
Your responsibilities
- Contribute to rigorous analysis of historical data to normalize demand, accounting for causal factors such as distribution changes, stock-outs, promotions, and weather impacts
- Develop and refine – under the guidance of the NOS Demand Planner – demand forecasting algorithms to generate 12- to 18-month rolling SKU-level forecasts, supporting purchasing and inventory decisions
- Collaborate closely with Category Planning to integrate collection changes, promotional plans, and range adjustments into forecasting models
- Support the creation and maintenance of production plans aligned with stocking policies and availability targets to enable timely and efficient ordering
- Monitor and improve forecast accuracy through root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
- Evaluate depot stocking parameters to balance availability and stock efficiency
- Support the provision of performance insights and recommendations to the buying teams on future product ranging by location, size, and category
